Folly Beach

Folly Beach is Charleston's original beach town located just 30 minutes from downtown Charleston.  Folly Beach is an incorporated community that offers a beachfront neighborhood, which has maintained a relaxed beach town atmosphere while experiencing rapid growth.  Folly Pier is a great experience.  It is more than 1000 feet long and has a snack bar, tackle shop and a full service restaurant.  Visit the Folly Beach County Park which has 4000 feet of ocean frontage and 2000 feet of river frontage.  Folly Beach has everything for salt water enthusiasts with surfing, crabbing and boating.
