James Island

 James Island is a suburb with a full range of housing options from older and newer townhomes, condos, and single family homes, many with marsh or water views.  The Ashley River borders this popular island, which is only minutes from downtown Charleston and Folly Beach.   James Island has an excellent public course operated by the City of Charleston.  Another major attraction is James Island Country Park, a scenic 640 acre park with a waterpark, dock, dog park, climbing wall, and host to the annual Holiday Festival of Lights.
